			The Kitrob flock was started in 1986 with the purchase of four new ewes. We then purchased the outstanding ram Ty Hir Ripple, he won many show championships and was an outstanding ram. By 1995 the flock was up to 100 ewes and some good rams was purchased. These included Halbeath Beathoven, which left us with very good females, unfortunately we lost him after 3 years and this was a big loss. Llyfni Bwmba has done a tremendous job for leaving us with excellent males and females. Showing has been done on a local and national level, winning 41 championships 36 reserve championships, and over 160 first prize. In 2004 we decided to keep only our best ewes and we reduced the flock to 40 ewes. We purchased ewes from claybury and Stainton 2004, and from Stockton, Stonehouse, Loosebeare, Musresk, and Stainton 2006. These ewes are in lamb to some very good rams. We have used AI this year and hopefully we will have some excellent rams and females. Our aim is to breed excellent carcass animals with good tight skins without loosing the texel character.
